Penn and District Gardening Society originated in 1939, as the Lower Penn Food Production Guild, on the outbreak of World War Two. It now runs Boundary Way’s on site garden supply shop, as well as offering members the chance to attend talks at Bradmore Community Centre. The Society also runs regular trips to stately homes and gardens across the country. Every year Penn & District Gardening Society holds an Annual Show, which has been chance for plot holders and members to enter their produce for judging for many years.
