On 26th May, we will be holding our Photography Open Day at Boundary Way. This will feature a fantastic exhibition of artwork, by the students of Penn Fields School, and photographs by the talented Geoff Broadway.
Over the past few years Geoff has been collecting film and oral histories around the allotment site – talking to plot holders, historians and exploring Boundary Way. As part of his recording of Boundary Way in the present day, Geoff is creating a film about the allotment. The film will be made up of both still and moving images that Geoff has been recording and taking at events, and through all the seasons of Boundary Way.
We are so excited for you all to see the film, which will be launching in June, but for now we thought we would share a taster of some of the perfect, plotholder portraits that Geoff has shot around the allotment. These portraits really capture the essence of the people who make Boundary Way what it is and if you’d like to see more, come and join us on the 26th May for an exhibition and workshops (between 10:00 and 3:00pm)!
