Annual General Meeting 2011

The AGM will be held on Sunday 27th March 2011 at 10.30am in the poly tunnel. Please make an effort to come along.

The following information is from our secretary Alma and expresses the need for sensible cooperative behaviour.

BOUNDARY WAY ALLOTMENTS – WOLVERHAMPTON
Information for plot holders.
  • The gates must be kept locked at all times. Even if you find the gates open, or only come for a short while, please make sure you lock them after you.
  • BONFIRES  are only permitted during the months of Sept, 0ct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, March, and April  after 12.30 pm and NEVER when wind is blowing towards the houses.
  • Unfortunately we do not have a collection service for rubbish, we can only afford 1 skip a year so rubbish must be taken to the tip or home and put in your green bins–and not the reverse as does happen frequently. Please do not bring rubbish from home to burn at Boundary Way this can cause great annoyance our neighbours and to other plot holders.
  • There are too many plot holders just dumping their rubbish at top of the site for someone else to remove.
  • Everyone should have their own compost bin on their own plot – this is an invaluable asset to use.
  • When free manure and grass cuttings are left on various car parks, this is for everyone’s use so please share it out sensibly.
  • We have a toilet on site please leave in a clean condition.
  • We have a website please feel free to contribute to it.  If you put "Boundary Way Allotments" in the search engine it will come up,
  • Everyone should have had an agreement between Allotment Association and tenant. They were given out and signed for in April 2010 when rents were collected  This is an official document from our Council and should be adhered to – Failure  to comply  with this can lead to an eviction.
